RELIGION IS EVIL by ultimate-super-mario RELIGION IS EVIL by ultimate-super-mario
There is not a more dangerous and most infectious weapon of mass destruction than religion.

It is not the result of guns, swords and nukes that will end the world. It is the ones whose hand that wields it for such reasons.

They control,
they manipulate,
they fool you,
they trick you,
they kill you,
you kill for them,
they eat for you,
you work for them,
you live your entire life in a complete lie.

You don't NEED to be saved from anything, you don't NEED to worship false prophets and idols.

You just need to USE your fucking brain and use it for once.

You cannot even fool a child, they can SEE through your lies.

Only those stupid enough to have the advantage to manipulate you.

In religion they will love bomb you, make you one of their own as long as you "believe" in their views, everyone and everything else will be shunned and punished.

We can't rely on God for everything
you think saying a few words and clapping your hands together will do anything
for those sick and poor

we NEED to act instead of pray

Donate money to charity
dont sit there praying!

there are many logical reasons why I don't believe in God
Yet people don't belive me
and as you said as a child even though I believed in God
I never did in creationism
so a child did see through  their lies

Religion is the purest form of evil. There is no greater enemy to progress.

Progress is a means not an end. Religions have preserved knowledge and history. Evil comes from the power hungry and opportunists who lye in wait in all groups.

What people do in God's name says far more about them than it does about him.

Christianity is very evil. Just look at the bible. It promotes all of the worst things humanity has to offer. The main example; a woman should be forced to marry her rapist. I don't care if people want to cry that it's an "old" testament, this is a religion based off of lies, bigotry, greed, sexism and everything wrong. Not to mention, religion is the basis of most war. Sure, there are good people who claim themselves to be christian, but honestly, these people are people who only follow the teachings of their beloved "jesus christ", not the rest of it. That doesn't, however, make up for the fact that religion is in fact, evil.

My theory is the bible was modified when it was translated, they added those hateful things in, because, after all, most of the population back then during the 1600 could not read English, much less the language the bible was written in. Christianity could have been a loving religion back then, but, of course, those in control ( men ) wanted power. Just saying, religion isnt evil just as guns dont kill people. Relgious people can be evil though.

Religion itself is not evil. It's what the people do with it that is evil. Therefor not everyone who believes in religion will shun or punish people outside of their religion. That statement is simply untrue.

I mean look at me. I'm religious, but I do accept people that don't have the same belief as me. I also use my intelligence. -.-

Besides people who are non religious can be just as bad. What you just did here can be considered just as bad. Non religious people do all them things you listed too. Have you ever heard of non religious people bombing abortion clinics? It happens. Have you ever heard of non religious people shunning people? It happens.

I'm agnostic but I do not believe religion itself is evil. It's certain people within religion that are (and even people who aren't religious).
